The Tiyani Mabunda Foundation is committed to unlocking the full potential of South Africa's youth through sport, education, and community empowerment. With the motto "Giving Life to the Dream", the Foundation has created a platform that bridges the gap between talent and opportunity.

The High Schools Sports Tournament — Mamelodi Edition is a landmark two-day event bringing together high school learners from across the Mamelodi and greater Tshwane region to compete, connect, and grow. This tournament goes beyond sport — it is a celebration of youth potential, team spirit, and community pride.

Supported by the Gauteng Province, City of Tshwane, SA School Sports, HPCSA, Microsoft, FAMSA and many other esteemed partners, this event is set to be the biggest high schools sports tournament in the region.

Supported by HPCSA — free health screenings, wellness talks, and interactive exhibits for all learners and community members.

Education Zone

Bursary information sessions, career guidance workshops, and motivational talks from professionals and community leaders.

Community Activation

A platform for families, schools, sponsors, and partners to engage, exhibit, and contribute to uplifting Mamelodi's youth.

Group Stage Matches Begin

Football group stage kicks off across multiple pitches. Simultaneous netball and basketball group rounds begin.

Lunch Break & Community Activation

Food vendors, sponsor activations, Microsoft digital skills demos, FAMSA family support stands, and career guidance booths.

Afternoon Group Rounds Continue

Remaining group stage fixtures across all sport codes. Education zone sessions and bursary information open.
